Hi All-

The C-SPAN Center for Scholarship and Engagement @ Purdue will be hosting its first annual Video Research Institute (VRI) this upcoming summer (June 23-28, 2024). Here is the information:

Participants will cover their travel to West Lafayette, IN, but everything else is on us (tuition, lodging, food, etc.).

The curriculum will be developed and taught by yours truly (Bryce J. Dietrich, Associate Professor @ Purdue). Each day we will cover either NLP, Audio Classification, or Image/Video Classification, with the morning consisting of a lecture and the afternoon consisting of an interactive lab.

Participants will also be assigned to research teams and given time to develop projects using new video data provided by the VRI.
