Dear all,

I'm excited to share that we have a search for a tenure track position in the Department of Politics, Governance and Economics in the School of International Service (SIS) at American University this fall!

Substantively, applicants should have research interests that fall within the fields of political economy, comparative politics, or economics (broadly defined). Methodologically, we have a preference for candidates with a quantitative foundation in research and teaching.

For further information and to apply: https://apply.interfolio.com/131192

Please note: Initial review of applications begins on September 15, 2023.

Also note: this search is distinct from the American University School of Public Affairs (SPA) search in comparative institutions. Interested candidates should apply to both jobs separately if they feel they fit both positions.

Please reach out with any questions about the department, American University, or life in DC.

Sumitra
