The 11th ECPR Summer School in Methods and Techniques

the Summer School offers state of the art methods training across the 
full range of methodologies, paradigms and approaches. The unique format 
of the Summer School means that participants can choose not only from a 
wide range of courses, but a number of course formats also. Whether you 
need a quick refresher in a particular skill set, in-depth training in a 
new methodology, or both, you can create a bespoke programme

to suit precisely your needs. The 2016 school will give participants a 
choice from 15 intensive refresher courses; 13 main courses focusing on 
research design; three on data collection; and 24 on data analysis. Each

is taught by an expert in the field and some are supported by a 
dedicated teaching assistant.
The host for the 2016 Summer School will be Central European University 
in Budapest

where participants will find a range of excellent facilities within 
which to take their courses. With two UNESCO World Heritage Sites within 
the city, and a vibrant cultural scene, Budapest will provide the 
perfect backdrop to the intensive study and vibrant, collegial 
atmosphere of the Summer School.
In order to make the Summer School as accessible for students and young 
scholars as possible, the course fees will remain at 2015 rates

Participants from ECPR member universities can take advantage of up to 
*€200* off their total fees with the Early Bird discount, which is 
double the discount from 2015! If you are from a member institution, you 
can also apply for funding from the ECPR (now open). If you have 
previously attended either the 2016 Winter School in Bamberg or the 2015 
Summer School in Ljubljana you will also qualify for an additional €50 
discount.
