        _International Encyclopedia of Political Science_

I have been asked to serve as the contributing editor for methodology for
the International Encyclopedia of Political Science, a joint project of CQ
Press, APSA and The Encyclopedia Society. And I am seeking individuals to
write entries.

This comprehensive, multi-volume reference aims to be the authoritative
reference on political science and politics for the 21st century. The
articles will provide a resource from which political science students and
scholars can draw fresh ideas and perspectives while tracing the various
meanings, uses, limits, and trends of established ones.

This encyclopedia will be published by CQ Press in 2008. The chief editor
is George T. Kurian (President Encyclopedia Society), and the editorial
board includes top scholars from political science.

This is an excellent opportunity to address students and others in the
scholarly community and to help shape their understanding of political
science.

To submit a proposal for one of the topics below, please send an abstract
of 50-100 words, along with a c.v., to me ([log in to unmask]). Upon
acceptance of your proposal, you will have four months to prepare your
article. Contributors will be acknowledged with an honorarium, a byline,
and a short bio. Approximately sixty topics are still available, and vary
in scope from 200 word (200 Words)xical entries defining a term or
