I am writing to alert you to an open rank judicial politics search we
are beginning immediately in the Department Political Science and the
School of Law at Washington University.  The job ad, which will soon
be available on the APSA website, appears below.  Please feel free to

The Department of Political Science at Washington University in St.
Louis, in cooperation with the Washington University School of Law, is
seeking candidates for a tenured or tenure-track position in Judicial
Politics to begin Fall 2006. Consideration of applications will begin
February 10, 2006, and continue until the position is filled. Untenured
applicants should submit a cover letter, vitae, statement of
research/teaching interests, at least three letters of reference,
writing samples, and any other relevant materials.  Tenured applicants
should submit a letter of interest and a curriculum vitae.  All
materials should be sent to Andrew D. Martin, Judicial Politics Search
Committee, Department of Political Science, Campus Box 1063, Washington
University, One Brookings Drive, St. Louis, MO 63130. Washington
