Hi,

I'm a postgrad student and looking for data sets on annual (and/or monthly) inflation rates by country from 1945 to the present as part of a Master's. I need ones that cover communist/post-communist (especially Yugoslavia) , Latin American and African countries - ones that cover western Europe and the US would be useful to though.

Unemployment stats would be useful too.

I realise it may be obvious to all of you where to look for these so sorry if it seems like a stupid question.

The basic idea is to see whether hyper-inflation and mass unemployment correlate positively with various things.

Thanks for any help anyone can give,

All the best,
Duncan
