and the short version below.

I am happy to answer questions.

Cheers,
Christian

The Department of Politics and Public Administration seeks to fill a
tenure-track-professorship for Political Communication effective April
1, 2020. The ideal candidate will contribute in research and teaching to
the Department of Politics and Public Administration, the newly
constituted Exzellenzcluster "The Politics of Inequality" and the
Graduate School for the Social and Behavioral Sciences. The candidate
should have a particular research focus on political communication.

Qualifications include an excellent dissertation within political
science or related disciplines. Candidates should work within the
disciplines of International Relations, Comparative Politics or
Comparative Policy Analysis and have a research focus within these
disciplines on digital political communication. Ideal are candidates who
work with automated methods for text analysis and who can strengthen an
interdisciplinary cooperation with the Department of Linguistics. A
track record in the acquisition of third party funding is a plus.

We offer a research intensive and motivating environment in an
interdisciplinary oriented department with excellent opportunities to
realise your own concepts in research and teaching. For further
information please contact Prof. Dr. Katharina Holzinger, Chair of the
Department, at +49 7531 88 2811 or [log in to unmask]
