University College Dublin (UCD) wishes to invite applications for the
post of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Research Methods for the Social
Sciences. Applicants will have completed a PhD in the social sciences
and have experience of supervising and teaching graduate students;
particularly in advanced quantitative research methods. S/he will
demonstrate a clear strategy for future research, publications and grant
applications, and be able to provide evidence of contribution to
peer-reviewed international publications.

The post will be located in the UCD School of Politics and International
Relations with teaching and administrative responsibilities shared
between a 40% commitment to the UCD College of Human Sciences’ Graduate
School and 60% of duties within the UCD School of Politics and
International Relations.  Salary Scales: Lecturer - €33,894 - €79,496
p.a. Senior Lecturer - €65,240 - €92,123. Please note: It is anticipated
that the appointee will commence in this post on the 1st of September
2007. In order to be appointed on the Senior Lecturer scale, the
appointee must meet the UCD benchmarks for Senior Lecturers. Further
