**Assistant Professor - International Relations**

The Department of Political Science at Louisiana State University invites applicants for an Assistant Professor position in International Relations, beginning in the fall of 2015. Sub-field specialization is open. The position will be full-time, tenure-track, with a 2-2 teaching load. An active and rigorous research agenda is critical, as well as a commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates with Ph.D. in-hand are preferred, but we will consider those who are close to completion and who will finish by the time of the appointment.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Political Science or related discipline. ABD candidates will also be considered.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching mission of LSU's International Studies Program. An active and rigorous research agenda is critical, as well as a commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
