Summary

The University of Michigan’s Department of Political Science invites
applications from outstanding candidates for a tenure track position for a
scholar who combines advanced skills in Methods of Causal Inference, Big
Data, Computational Social Science, Data Science, and/or Field Experiments,
open with respect to substantive interest; the department has specific
interests in international political economy, comparative developing
countries, and political behavior in race and ethnic politics.

This position is at the assistant professor rank and is a university year
appointment. It is anticipated to begin August 26, 2024. Promise of
excellence in research and teaching is required.
