The University of Notre Dame just posted ads on APSAnet for three positions
that we will be searching for next fall: Quantitative methods; American
politics; and Comparative politics.

Quantitative Methods
---
The Department of Political Science at the University of Notre Dame invites
applications for a tenure-track appointment in quantitative methodology at
the level of assistant professor. The position is open with respect to
field of specialization. Candidates must show promise of excellence in both
substantive research and teaching advanced quantitative graduate courses.
Notre Dame is an AA/EO employer. The Department particularly seeks
applications from minorities, women, Catholics, and all those who are
attracted to a university with a Catholic identity. To assure full

American Politics
---
The Department of Political Science at the University of Notre Dame invites
applications for a tenure-track position in American politics. We
anticipate hiring at the assistant professor level, but a tenured
appointment is possible for an accomplished senior candidate. We seek
candidates working in any sub-field of American who will contribute to a
strong and productive American group with diverse substantive and
methodological orientations. That group is supported materially by the
Francis and Kathleen Rooney Center for the Study of American Democracy (for

must have a record of excellence in research and teaching. Tenure-track
candidates must show promise of excellence in research and teaching. Notre

politics with a focus on either (1) political economy in any region or (2)
any topic concerning the Middle East, Asia, or Africa. Tenured candidates
must have a record of excellence in research and teaching. Tenure-track
candidates must show promise of excellence in research and teaching. Notre
Dame is an AA/EO employer. The Department particularly seeks applications
