Announcing the Vera E. Troeger Scholarship for Women in Political Methodology

The Essex Summer School in Social Science Data Analysis<https://essexsummerschool.com/> is excited to announce the Vera E. Troeger Scholarship for Women in Political Methodology.<https://essexsummerschool.com/scholarships-4/> These awards are intended to encourage methodological training among female graduate students in the field of political science and to honour the work of Professor Vera E. Troeger, a leading figure in quantitative political science research and a distinguished voice in the promotion of women in political science.

The Vera E. Troeger scholarship provides a tuition waiver to attend a one or two-week course offered by the Essex Summer School in Social Science Data Analysis in 2023.

ESS offers a wide variety of courses across all levels in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Classes are offered either in-person at the University of Essex, remotely, or in hybrid formats.

Please note the session dates below:
Session one: 10 to 21 July
Session two: 24 July to 4 August
Session three: 7 to 18 August

The Vera E. Troeger scholarship is open to:
-    Candidates who identify as women
-    Students who are enrolled in a PhD programme at a university located in Europe
