Dear colleagues,

The Comparative Legislators Database (CLD) team is pleased to announce the
release of the latest update, which brings even more countries and
legislative sessions into the comprehensive database.

The CLD now contains information for over 67,000 contemporary and historical
legislators from 16 countries. Recent country additions are Brazil, Israel,
Italy, Japan, Netherlands, and Turkey. Data for Canada, the Czech Republic,
France, Germany, Scotland, and the USA now include recent legislative
sessions.

In addition to access via the R package legislatoR
<https://github.com/saschagobel/legislatoR> , data is now available for
download as .csv, .rds, and .sqlite files through the CLD
<https://dataverse.harvard.edu/dataverse/cld> ’s Dataverse.

To stay informed, check out complegdatabase.com
<https://complegdatabase.com/> , where you can get an overview of the
database, the latest updates, tutorials, and more.

Best wishes,

Sascha Göbel
