We are looking for a Research Fellow who will contribute to a project
that uses machine-learning methods to forecast interstate and civil
wars (see forecastlab.org). We are particularly interested in the
clustering of temporal patterns, functional data analysis, and
self-supervised learning. Experience with deep learning is required.

The project is at Trinity College Dublin, where the postdoc will join
a dynamic group of economists, computer scientists, physicists and
political scientists. The postdoc is expected to last 3 years, with a
start date as soon as possible and a competitive salary.
