*UNI CSBR Postdoctoral Scholar*



*Salary*:  $52,000.00 - $56,000.00

*Percent of Time/Week*: 100%

*Service Schedule*: P&S Calendar Year


*Position Description*: Assists with the direction and implementation of
survey projects and program/project evaluations related to a variety of
areas with a focus on education, public health and natural resources;
pursues individual research in survey methods or disciplinary scholarship;
conducts applied and methodological research (quantitative, qualitative or
mixed-methods) in a highly collaborative setting; receives training and
assists with grant and contract proposal writing for federal, state and
private funding opportunities; receives training in responsible conduct of
research and AAPOR TI requirements; attends Center for Social & Behavioral
Research (CSBR) meetings and attend other departmental colloquia and or
related events of interest; and trains and supervises master-and
undergraduate-level students.


*Education Requirements*: Doctoral or equivalent degree in research
methods, survey methods, psychology, sociology, demography, public health
or related field required.


*Required Qualifications*: Demonstrated knowledge of both quantitative
survey science; experience with qualitative methods; and demonstrated
knowledge of at least one statistical analysis package or program (R, SAS,
SPSS) required. Student experience will be considered.


*Desirable Qualifications*: Experience with program/project evaluation
preferred.
