AidData, a research lab at William & Mary, is seeking applicants for a
Junior Data Analyst position in its Research and Evaluation Unit. This role
focuses on data gathering, joining and analysis for Geospatial Impact
Evaluations and other research projects.

Applicants for this job must have a bachelor's degree in economics, public
policy, government, or a related field. In addition, applicants must have
proficiency in Stata or R and a strong research interest in development. It
is preferred, but not required, that applicants have experience in
geospatial software and data.

This job is a particularly good opportunity for individuals who wish to
pursue a PhD or MA/MPP but need some time (2-3 years) to bolster their
application package. The JDA in this position will work closely with
Research Scientists and the Chief Economist on a range of research
projects. They will learn advanced methods and have the opportunity to join
as co-authors on reports and academic papers. In addition, they are able to
take up to 6 credit hours each semester at William & Mary free of charge.

Previous JDAs in this position have secured good PhD placements, including
Princeton Political Science and UC Davis Ag Economics.

Applications close on May 25. Please visit our website for more
information: https://www.aiddata.org/join-the-team/junior-data-analyst

Applications can be submitted through William & Mary here:

Best,
Rachel Sayers
