Now hiring teaching assistants for 2024 ICPSR Summer Program quant methods
courses!

ICPSR, a unit within the University of Michigan’s Institute for Social
Research, hosts a Summer Program in Quantitative Methods that offers
courses in statistics, quantitative and qualitative research methods, and
data analysis, from introductory to advanced levels.

The Summer Program is now hiring teaching assistants to help with its 40+
General Session courses, including regression analysis, Bayes, multilevel
models, SEM, intro stats, machine learning, network analysis, and more.
Courses run from June 10-August 2, 2024.

Required qualifications for the position include current enrollment in a
Ph.D. program (or equivalent academic status) and experience with
quantitative research skills in the social sciences or a closely related
field. All teaching assistants will be expected to work in-person in Ann
Arbor, Michigan.

Pay is $37.47/hour. As a bonus, teaching assistants are also able to enroll
in up to two General Session courses.
