Dear Colleagues,

Please circulate this ad, which was posted to APSA's E-Jobs site a
couple of days ago, in your departments and encourage interesting
graduate students to apply. And if you, or they, have any questions,
feel free to contact me ([log in to unmask]) or Tony Mughan
([log in to unmask]) directly.

COMPARATIVE POLITICS
The Department of Political Science invites applications for multiple
positions in Comparative Politics to begin in September, 2007. The
positions are open with respect to rank, substantive interests,
methodological approach, and regional specialization. All candidates
must submit a current curriculum vitae, a sample of professional
writing, and a brief statement of research and teaching interests.
Prospective or recent (received in last 4 years) Ph.D.s should also
submit a graduate school transcript and have three up-to-date letters of
recommendation sent to us. Applications will be reviewed as they arrive
until the position is filled. To assure full consideration, though,
applications should be received no later than September 15, 2006. Ohio
State University is an EO/AA employer, with flexible employment policies
in place. Women, minorities, Vietnam-era veterans, disabled veterans,
and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply. Send
applications TO: Comparative Politics Search, Department of Political
Science, 2140 Derby Hall, 154 North Oval Mall, The Ohio State
University, Columbus, OH 43210-1373. For more information on the
Department, please visit our web site at http://www.polisci.osu.edu.

Note also that OSU will be conducting searches in American Politics and
International Relations. Those positions have also been listed on the
APSA E-Jobs site and more information about them can be found there.

Cheers, Irfan
