ICPSR Summer Program Scholarships

The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR)
is offering funds to support summer training in quantitative methods and
data analysis for graduate students and pre-tenure scholars in political
science.

The following scholarships provide a tuition waiver to the four-week
sessions of the 2017 ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social
Research. From mid-June through mid-August 2017, the ICPSR Summer Program
will offer two consecutive four-week sessions on the University of Michigan
campus in Ann Arbor. The four-week sessions are an immersive learning
experience in which participants receive hands-on training in a variety of
research methods while building a community of friends, collaborators, and
future colleagues. Four-week courses include introductory and advanced
regression analysis, time series analysis, Bayesian analysis, rational
choice theory, SEM, MLE, game theory, and more.

The scholarship application deadline is Friday, March 31, 2017. For more

Clifford C. Clogg Scholarship: Open to graduate students in Political
Science and Sociology

Scholarship for Public Administration, Public Policy, and Public Affairs:
Open to graduate students in the areas of public administration, public
policy, or public affairs

Warren E. Miller Scholarship: Open to advanced graduate students,
pre-tenure scholars, and assistant professors researching electoral and
political behavior, either in the U.S. or in a comparative context


Additionally, the Society for Political Methodology offers the Janet
Box-Steffensmeier and John A. Garcia Scholarships, which are awarded to
women and under-represented graduate students enrolled in Political Science
PhD programs. More information is available at
