Dear colleagues,

 

we are hiring a full-time scientific staff member (research fellow, m/f/d)
with expertise in empirical research as well as in research data management
for the Cluster of Excellence “Contestations of the Liberal Script”
(SCRIPTS). The position runs until the end of 2025 and the successful
candidate is supposed to start this fall. The position is open to candidates
who have completed or are close to complete their PhD.

 

The position is located within the Data and Methodology Center (DMC) of
SCRIPTS. The DMC provides advice to research projects concerning research
data management, research design, qualitative and quantitative research
methods and is responsible for synthesizing respective efforts within the
Cluster. In cooperation with the leadership of the DMC the research fellow
will conduct their own individual, innovative research, as well as
synthesize the methodological results of discussion and research within the
Cluster, support research projects as well as researchers in questions of
research data management and related topics. The coordination of research
data management within the Cluster is also a core responsibility as well as
developing and implementing a data archiving strategy for SCRIPTS meeting
current standards in the field.
