Job offer for part time freelancer (python django, MySQL)

Details of the project

Start date: As soon as possible

Project length: max. 2 months, deadline end of September 2017

Location: Berlin

Office: Home-office but regular face to face communication needed with project leader
at FU Berlin

Part time Freelance

Budget: €2000

The project

• You'll be working on a server based interface, which allows multiple users to put
in data in SQL database.
• The interface shall allow a workflow for quality control of the input, also
communication between users.
• The management of the SQL database shall be possible for future optimization of
the data structure. Intuitive Design shall also be considered for future Database
Administrator.
• There is an old interface programed with django 1.5.1, the new interface must be
up-to-date using the latest version of django, and the design shall be intuitive and user
friendly.

Your profile

• You're an experienced developer, who has a problem solving mindset.
• Knowing your way around MySQL and django python is an absolute must.
• If on top of that you have had any experience in academic databases and citation
network analysis that would be considered a plus.
