Colleagues:

It is my pleasure to inform you that New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD)
will be hosting a conference entitled "Legislative Gridlock: 2012 and
Beyond" from March 21-22. This conference will feature a diverse group of
scholars that will chime in on the subject of gridlock from a variety of
angles. The conference will be *free *and open to the public, though
registration will be required.

In a few weeks, registration will open, at which time I will send a
follow-up e-mail. We have a space cap of approximately *75* individuals, so
please register early to reserve a spot.

In the meantime, I wanted to provide a tentative conference program. Please
note that for Thursday March 22, the schedule is subject to change, but the
general time structure will be kept.
