*PhD studentships at the Institute for Social and Economic Research (ISER),
University of Essex*

ISER is an interdisciplinary research centre with a thriving PhD program. We are
currently accepting applications from students wishing to study for a PhD (+3)
or an MSc and PhD (1+3) in any quantitative social science discipline, starting
autumn 2015..

Prospective students are also invited to apply for one of our fully-funded
studentships, available as part of the ESRC-funded Doctoral Training Centre at

ISER offers PhD supervision in the following research pathways:

- Economics

- Applied Social and Economic Research

- Survey Methodology

- Health Research

These studentships are open to all suitably qualified applicants, regardless of
