Note that if you directly edited the .bbl file, when you rerun BibTex
(e.g., by TeXifying your document) it will reconstruct the .bbl file. So,
if you have left your modified .bbl file with the same name, you will lose
your work. Best to do this at the very end or, after changing the .bbl
file give it a new name (e.g., "filename-modified.bbl") and rename it
"filename.bbl" at the very end and run LaTeX one last time (actually, you
might have to run it two last times, just don't run BibTeX again).
