COMPARATIVE POLITICS
University of Pittsburgh
Europe

The Department of Political Science at the University of Pittsburgh is
conducting a search for a scholar qualified for an appointment as an
Associate or Full Professor in Comparative Politics with an emphasis
on European politics, pending budgetary approval. We are interested in
scholars who have a broad range of interests in European politics.
These interests could include regional specializations within Europe
and/or the European Union. Beyond the Department, the individual would
be expected to serve a term as director of the European Studies Center
with the University Center for International Studies. Please send a

International Relations – Comparative Politics

The Department of Political Science at the University of Pittsburgh is
conducting a search for an Assistant Professor in Global Studies,
pending budgetary approval. Qualified candidates, whether from
international relations or comparative politics, will have research
agendas located at the intersection of the two subfields. Priority
will be given to candidates with innovative theoretical perspectives
and to candidates who study the developing world. Successful
candidates should have interests that overlap with the foci of the
University of Pittsburgh’s Global Studies Program
(http://www.ucis.pitt.edu/global/about.html). These foci include, but
are not limited to, democratization and global governance, global
