Title:		Part-Time Research Analyst

Strategic Area:	Research

Reports to:		Senior Researcher


The Ethics Resource Center, a non-profit organization that promotes business ethics, is seeking part-time research analysts to analyze survey data about business ethics, and write reports describing the findings. Qualified candidates should have an excellent social science background in analyzing quantitative survey data, and should have strong report-writing skills.  Candidates must be proficient in SPSS, including its graphics capacities.  B.A. is required, M.A. is preferred.

Responsibilities
§	Analyze gathered data and report on results
§	Develop a full understanding of the uses and applications of research to the field of ethics and the ERC
§	Prepare reports

Skills Required
The ideal candidate will have:
§	Strong statistical background in social science research
§	Familiarity with use of SPSS
§	Ability to do regression analysis using SPSS
§	Technical report writing abilities
§	Excellent oral and written communication skills
§	Express performing regression analysis is a plus

Salary and Location of Employment
Research analysts will earn $20 an hour.  Although the Ethics Resource Center is located in Washington, D.C., ideally the research analysts hired for this position is located in the DC Metro area or along the East Coast of the U.S.  So long as they are in frequent contact with the ERC via phone and e-mail.  This position is ideal for students or people with part-time jobs who desire a flexible work schedule.  U.S. Citizenship or authorized to work in the U.S. is required.

Timeline
We are seeking multiple analysts to be matched to different research projects.  Each project has its own timeline.  It is also possible candidates hired for a current project could be asked to stay on to work on future research projects as they come up.
