The Department of Politics University of Oxford is seeking a three-year
post doc in comparative politics. This is an excellent opportunity to
join an internationally recognised teaching and research centre. You
will engage in research, collaborate with academic colleagues, and
contribute to the Department's graduate and undergraduate teaching in
the field of Comparative Government. The post is available for three
years from 1st September 2006 or an agreed date as soon as possible
thereafter; it is strictly fixed-term and non-renewable due to fixed
term funding. You should have a completed doctorate in, or evidence of
imminent completion, as well as a research agenda associated with,
Comparative Government. You should also have a publication record that
is, or will be, sufficient for inclusion in the Department's Research
Assessment Exercise submission in 2008, experience of teaching at
undergraduate level and the ability to teach at graduate level.
Deadline for applying is July 4, 2006. More information at,
