April 2024 The teaching load is the common German teaching load of four 90-minute seminars in one semester and five in another. Class sizes are very small and grading is very limited (only one assignment per seminar). All in all, the teaching load is similar to a US 2-2 or UK 2-3 load. The position comes without administrative burdens and is a good way to gather teaching experience while also having substantial research time and a decent research budget. An overlap in research interests with the International Political Studies research group is desirable but not necessary. 2) 2-year post-doctoral position<https://uni-wh.softgarden.io/job/33608071/Post-doctoral-researcher-w-m-d-Post-Doc-am-Lehrstuhl-f%C3%BCr-International-Political-Studies?jobDbPVId=85193501&l=de> in the ERC-funded project DANGER<https://www.erc-danger.de/> - starting date open to negotiation. It's a full time position with responsibilities in project research and coordination along with considerable freedom to push forward the candidate's own research agenda.
