Dear colleagues,

We are delighted to announce the launching of the 2015 Argentine Panel
Election Study (APES). The study is a three-wave national survey that will
be conducted during the 2015 Argentine election cycle by a team of
researchers headed by Noam Lupu of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
APES is offering scholars an opportunity to submit questions, question
batteries, or experiments to be included in our study.

Each APES wave employs a nationally representative sample (N=1,400 or more)
of the adult Argentine population. The first wave will be based on
face-to-face interviews and will be conducted in May (before the official
start of the primary election campaign). The second and third waves will be
conducted via telephone, with a refresh sample to address attrition. The
second wave will be conducted in September (before the start of the
official general election campaigns) and the third wave will be conducted
in November (after the first round of presidential elections, and before a
potential runoff).

Each wave includes a large set of core questions regarding candidate and
party evaluations, economic evaluations, political participation, party
images and attachments, and standard demographics. The core questionnaire
is currently under development.

We invite you to submit proposals for single questions, batteries of
questions, and/or experiments, on one, two, or three waves of the APES.
Questions can be submitted in Spanish or English. Simple closed-ended
questions are priced at US$ 1,000 in the first wave and U$S 800 in the
second and third waves, with possible discounts for batteries of multiple
questions. Please contact us for pricing on more complex question
batteries and survey experiments. Accepted proposers can expect to receive
the complete dataset and codebook for each study wave one month after the
completion of fieldwork.
