Dear Political Methodologists,

hi. Registration is now available for the 16th annual 
Northeast Political Methodology meeting, Friday, April 29,
at New York University.  

Lunch and all papers will be in room 217 of the Politics 
Department (19 W. 4th Street - corner of W. 4th Street and Mercer Street).

Note that registration will close Monday April 18.

We start at 11:30, do lunch, and then we will do 3 papers, 
with lots of time for discussion.

11:30 - 12:30:  Lunch

12:30 - 2:00    Dan Hopkins, University of Pennsylvania
		"The Exaggerated Life of Death Panels: 
		Using Text to Understand the Limits of Framing Effects 
		in the Health Care Debate."

2:15 - 3:45:    Jake Bowers, University of Illinois
		"How can machine learning improve precision in experiments? 
		Did the London bombings change social capital in the UK?"


4:00 - 5:30:    Jacob Montgomery, Washington Universtiy - St. Louis
	 	"The efficient measurement of personality: 
		Adaptive personality inventories for survey research."

5:30 - 6:30:	Post Paper Discussion Event 

6:45		Dinner for Speakers and Invited Faculty Guests
