At the University of Bremen in Faculty 08 (Social Sciences), the Institute
for Intercultural and International Studies (Prof. Dr. Philipp Genschel) is
offering a position in the fields of European Integration, Global Governance
and/ or Political Economy, starting as soon as possible, of a

 

Postdoctoral Researcher (f/m/d)

(full-time, 13 TV-L)

for an initial period of 3 years.

Tasks

*	Research in European Integration, Global Governance, and/or
Political Economy. 
*	Teaching (BA/MA) in the areas of European Integration, Global
Governance, and/ or Political Economy (four classes of 1.5 hours/week per
year). 
*	Collaboration in joint grant applications. 

Requirements

*	Excellent doctorate in a social science discipline.
*	Active research interest in the fields of European Integration,
Global Governance, or Political Economy. 
*	Expertise in international and cross-national data analysis. A
strong interest in quantitative methods is desirable.
*	Fluency in English. Basic German is an advantage.
*	Organizational skills and the ability to work independently and in
teams.  

Offer

*	Gross-salary according to the German 13 TV-L pay scale for public
employees.
*	Three-year contract
*	A vibrant work environment.
