The Political Networks Section<http://www.polinetworks.org/> of the American Political Science Association<http://www.apsanet.org/> is pleased to announce a call for paper proposals for the 8th Annual Political Networks Workshops & Conference<http://conference.polinetworks.org/>.

Program Chairs, Stacie Goddard<http://www.wellesley.edu/politicalscience/facstaff/goddard> and Adam Henry<http://sgpp.arizona.edu/user/adam-douglas-henry>, seek proposals for individual papers and organized panels that engage in rigorous theoretical and/or empirical research on the application of network concepts to politics and policy. We welcome contributions that develop novel conceptual and methodological approaches to the analysis of political networks. We aim to have a conference that represents research from a broad range of subfields and methodologies. Submissions are encouraged from scholars in any related field, including, but not limited to, political science, sociology, economics, anthropology, psychology, business, statistics, computer science and information science.

To submit an individual paper proposal, please submit a title and abstract of no more than 250 words on the conference website http://conference.polinetworks.org/ . Three-paper panels may also be submitted; to do so, please note the title of the panel in each paper submission. For full consideration, proposals must be submitted by March 4, 2014. A limited number of travel fellowships will be available.

Information about how to apply for travel grants, supported by the National Science Foundation, will be posted in the coming weeks.
