The 41st annual meeting of the Society for Political Methodology will take place July 18-20, 2024, at the Mission Inn Hotel and Spa<https://www.missioninn.com/> in Riverside, CA. The meeting is hosted by the UC Riverside School of Public Policy and Department of Political Science.

Please see the conference website https://polmeth.ucr.edu/ for more details and how to apply.

Applications are now being accepted for paper proposals, posters, and attendance. The application is available on the conference website using the “Apply” tab. If you would like to present either a paper or poster, please submit a proposal by March 15, 2024. This is a firm deadline. We plan to have acceptance notifications sent out by May 1st.

Polmeth is the premier venue to showcase and receive feedback on recent work in the field of political methodology as well as empirical applications of quantitative methods to substantive questions in political science and beyond. It is also an excellent opportunity for building professional networks and meeting the next generation of political scientists. If you would like to join our community, we encourage you to apply.

The Society for Political Methodology and UCR are committed to diversity and inclusion, and the society actively works to increase the diversity of our subfield and reach out to people from under-represented groups. We welcome applicants of all identities and backgrounds. We strongly encourage our members to spread the word about the conference throughout their network so we can ensure an enriching meeting. And if you are reading this announcement and wondering if *you* are invited -- you are.

In the coming months, we will provide additional information about the keynote speaker, our plans for the sponsorship tracks mentioned on the website, networking events, and more. Please visit the conference website https://polmeth.ucr.edu/ for updates.

CODE OF CONDUCT: The Society requires that all participants acknowledge and follow the Code of Conduct at SPM Events to ensure a harassment-free environment at the meeting. If you are invited to participate, you will be asked to confirm your agreement in the registration form. You can read the Code of Conduct on the SPM's website:

For more information or if you have questions, please email [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. That email forwards to the conference leadership so it is constantly monitored. Please put “Polmeth2024” in the subject line.

We look forward to seeing many of you this summer in downtown Riverside.
