The University of Massachusetts Lowell is advertising for three positions
that may be of interest to people on this list: two at the Assistant or
Associate Professor level in American Politics and one at the Full or
Associate level in International Relations. These positions are posted on
APSA ejobs and pasted below.

Jenifer Whitten-Woodring

The Department of Political Science seeks applications for an Associate or
Full Professor tenure track position from experienced individuals with
research and teaching interests in all subfields in and approaches to
International Relations and Global Studies, and with a strong interest in
taking a leadership role in helping to establish an interdisciplinary
doctoral program in Global Studies.

Ph.D. in Political Science or equivalent is required. University teaching
experience required. January 2012 start date possible; possibility of hire
with Tenure for an exceptional Associate or Full Professor candidate. Please
submit a letter identifying your interest, a curriculum vita, copies of
publications and names and contact information from three references who
will be contacted. [Initially, names and contact information of references
may be omitted by established scholars with records of excellence and
national reputations. Please do not have recommendation letters sent unless
requested.]

The Political Science Department offers a B.A. degree. There is the
potential for a 2/2 teaching load for research productive faculty. Political
Science faculty also have the opportunity to teach in interdisciplinary
graduate and undergraduate programs.

Just 25 miles north of Boston, UMass Lowell faculty benefit both from the
city of Lowell’s cultural and arts environment as well as from engagement
with and participation in the metropolitan Boston academic community.
