Dear Polmeth Community,


On behalf of the project's leadership team, we are delighted to announce
the latest Constituency-Level Elections Archive (CLEA) data release.

CLEA Release 15 (20220111) includes updates to the Upper Chamber election
data.

Overview of CLEA Release 15

CLEA Upper Chamber:

- Dataset now includes 180 election results from 24 countries. This is in
addition to our lower chamber dataset, which includes around 1,900
elections from 170 countries and territories

- This release adds 56 new elections from 19 countries

- We have added 11 new countries: Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican
Republic, Italy, Japan, Liberia, Philippines, Poland, Romania, and Uruguay

The datasets are free and available for download in the following formats:
Excel, R, SPSS, and Stata. All files can be downloaded at
www.electiondataarchive.org

We would like to thank our users for bringing errors and new data to our
attention. These have been addressed in the latest release, and we continue
to welcome user feedback on these and other topics.
