Dear PolMeth,

I'm writing to share that Wharton is hiring a data scientist/engineer to work with Hamsa Bastani, Rachel Mariman, and me on analytics for social good. The position is ideally suited for an early career individual with an interest in relevant computational social science and experience in data pipelines. Examples of ongoing applications include policing, human trafficking, media polarization, and supply chain ethics; for more, see hamsabastani.github.io<http://hamsabastani.github.io> and dcknox.com<http://dcknox.com>

The presumptive pay range is $80-90k, with the potential for up to $117k depending on qualifications. I'd appreciate it if you could share this opportunity with the PolMeth community and encourage people to apply. Please direct them to the application portal (https://wd1.myworkdaysite.com/en-US/recruiting/upenn/careers-at-penn/job/Data-Scientist--Analytics-at-Wharton_JR00057096) for more information about the role. They can also reach out to me with any questions.

Best,

Dean Knox
