The Hertie School invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Social Data Science. We're a graduate school for governance in the heart of Berlin focusing on public policy, international affairs, and data science.



The position will be based in the Data Science Lab, where the successful candidate will able to develop their own profile combining state-of-the-art research in data science with research in the social sciences and public policy. In addition, the successful candidate will contribute to core courses in machine learning and data science teaching in the School’s MSc Data Science for Public Policy programme.
