Hi everyone,

My team at the Centre for the Governance of AI is hiring a Survey Analyst
Contractor. For more information and how to apply, please click non this
link: https://www.governance.ai/post/survey-analyst

Application deadline: 10th of August at 23:59 BST

Job Description:

As Survey Analyst, you will support running surveys of the public and key
expert populations (such as AI researchers, policymakers, and economists).
You will also help analyze the data for upcoming and ongoing projects and
contribute to the design of surveys. The position is initially limited to
three months as a contractor.

Your responsibilities will include:

   - Analyzing survey and forecasting data for academic and non-academic
   publications
   - Streamlining GovAI’s survey analysis pipeline and code to make it
easily adaptable to new projects and as automated as possible
   - Generating data visualizations for academic and non-academic
   publications
   - Consulting on statistical matters and questions on survey methods and
design, including questions such as item development and instrumentation,
sampling, weighting, imputations, nonresponse bias, analysis methods, and
   power analyses
   - Writing pre-analysis plans for projects and ensuring files and data
are prepared for future replication efforts, including for uploading to
   open science databases
   - Potentially supporting the process of writing technical reports and
   academic papers

Applicants will work full-time or part-time for an initial 3 months as a
contractor. The work will be done remotely. The survey analyst contractor
will be compensated at a rate of 40 USD/hour. Whilst the role ideally would
be full-time, time commitments can be scoped out together for individuals
only able to accept a part-time role.

Thank you!
