We still have openings for participants in Agent-based Modeling, System Dynamics, and Systems Thinking for the upcoming 3rd annual Systems Science for Social Impact Summer Training Institute<http://elink.wustl.edu/c/7/eyJhaSI6MTQ1NTI1NDYsImUiOiJ3ZWlubWFuakB3dXN0bC5lZHUiLCJyaSI6ImNvbnRhY3QtZDhmZGU4MDVjYjk5ZGYxMWI0N2YwMDE1NWQwMTY0NGYtMDU3NjcyNWM1YzlkNGNmMmIxY2M5ZWE3YTkyNzQ3NzEiLCJycSI6IjAyLWIyMjE0NC02MmExN2QyZmY4YzE0NDQyYTU0YTZlNGU1MDIwYmM4NCIsInBoIjpudWxsLCJtIjp0cnVlLCJ1aSI6IjAiLCJ1biI6IiIsInUiOiJodHRwczovL3N5c3RlbXNzY2llbmNlZm9yc29jaWFsaW1wYWN0Lnd1c3RsLmVkdS8_X2NsZGVlPXVIbXlYRXRMbmVXZHRJY1UyLWFSOHJyUC1odlJkNTdKZ2dFMTBoMlFXZzRjOHRCMlBmTTRJbTFTcjFiaEdRZFUmcmVjaXBpZW50aWQ9Y29udGFjdC1kOGZkZTgwNWNiOTlkZjExYjQ3ZjAwMTU1ZDAxNjQ0Zi0wNTc2NzI1YzVjOWQ0Y2YyYjFjYzllYTdhOTI3NDc3MSZlc2lkPTgyMjZlYjI5LTc2ZGItZWMxMS1hN2I2LTAwMjI0ODMwYzVhMiJ9/u2W5yB7rhvCxzcgrH5Kwqw>, to be held in person from July 25 to July 29, 2022. Only a few spots remain in the other tracks.

In this five-day training, participants will get a hands-on introduction to systems science methods with a focus on five main tracks: Agent-based Modeling, Group Model Building, Social Network Analysis, System Dynamics, and *New for 2022* Systems Thinking. The co-organizers and faculty are Ross Hammond, Douglas Luke, Ellis Ballard, Todd Combs, Kristen Hassmiller Lich, Matt Kasman, Virginia McKay, Alexandra Morshed, Nasim Sabounchi, and Kelsey Werner.

In our new Systems Thinking track, participants will learn about complex systems fundamentals through didactic instruction and hands-on activities applying systems thinking to social and public health problems. Instructors will demonstrate how to incorporate systems science methods to examine complex problems through interactive examples and scenarios.

Participants will review the major concepts of their chosen track/method, learn analytic best practices, and apply the methods to real-world data. The workshops are designed for faculty, advanced graduate students, recent graduates, and professionals from public health, social work, and social sciences.

The application process is open; candidates will be accepted on a monthly basis through July 10, 2022.
