Hi folks,

I'll try out the new Polmeth listserv!  Below are ads for multiple
positions we have open at FSU this Fall.  While we always expect to hire
folks with good quantitative and/or formal skills, the Open Field position
is targeted at someone with particularly strong methods skills.  Please let

OPEN FIELD
The Department of Political Science at Florida State University seeks
applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin
August 2006 in any of the following subfields:  American Politics,
Comparative Politics, International Relations or Public Policy.  Successful
candidates will be able to teach advanced graduate-level courses in
quantitative and/or formal methods.  Applicants should submit a letter of
application indicating teaching and research interests, a curriculum vitae,
writing samples, three letters of recommendation, and a graduate school
transcript.  Review of applications will begin October 1, 2005 and continue

candidates interested in the nexus of politics and health care policy for
appointment as Assistant Professor of Political Science (tenure-track)
participating in both the department's Ph.D. program and the College of
Social Sciences' interdisciplinary Master's in Public Health degree
