CALL FOR TUTORIAL PROPOSALS (DUE: DEC 14, 2014)

SBP-2015: International Conference on Social Computing, Behavioral Modeling, and Prediction, March 31-April 3, 2015, Washington DC, USA

http://sbp-conference.org/

The 2015 International Conference on Social Computing, Behavioral Modeling, and Prediction (SBP) is a multidisciplinary conference with a selective single paper track and poster session. The SBP conference provides a forum for researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government agencies to exchange ideas on current challenges in social computing, behavioral modeling and prediction, and on state-of-the-art methods and best practices being adopted to tackle these challenges. Interactive events at the conference are designed to promote cross-disciplinary contact.

As part of the SBP program, we cordially invite proposals for tutorials from active researchers and experienced tutors in academia, industry, and government agencies. Ideally, a tutorial will cover the state-of-the-art research and ideas, innovative developments, and novel applications in a specific aspect of social computing, behavioral modeling and prediction.

If you are interested in giving a tutorial, please send your proposal in PDF to the tutorial chair ([log in to unmask]) with the following items specified:

1. Tentative title

2. Abstract

3. Presenter's name, title, and contact information

4. Length of tutorial (1.5 or 3 hours)

5. Expected background of audience

6. A list of references/resources to be covered in the tutorial

7. Presenter's bio sketch

8. If presenter has given similar tutorials elsewhere

The accepted proposal presenters should provide comprehensive tutorial notes or slides to the tutorial audience free of charge.

Schedule:

· Proposal Due: Dec. 14, 2014
