Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Political Science or related discipline
(defended by hire date). Preferred Qualifications: Advanced training in
experimental methods and may come from political science, economics, or
psychology.
Brief Description of Duties: Stony Brook University has a Postdoctoral
Associate position available to serve as the lab manager for the Center for
Behavioral Political Economy (CBPE). This position will assist with
establishing a new lab as well as to engage in research for the purpose of
paper presentation and journal submissions. The selected candidate will:
· Manage/Set up the new CBPE Laboratory, to include setting up computers,
programming experiments and running day to day operations. Will also
maintain web-site.
· Engage in research and collaboration with faculty and graduate students
in the Center.
· Participate in department meetings and group discussions.
· Other duties as assigned.
Special Notes: This is a full time appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not
eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external
search to occur simultaneously. Night and weekend work is required. The
selected candidate must successfully clear a background investigation.
