The University of Miami is currently hiring *two* TT positions in political
science, one in *American politics* and the other in *international
relations*. One of the two positions is a new endowed chair at the
associate/full level, while the other is an assistant/associate position.
Thus we welcome applications, inquiries, and nominations from the assistant
to full professor level in both subfields.

The Department of Political Science at the University of Miami invites
applications for an associate professor or full professor. The proposed
start date is August 15, 2019. This is an endowed position providing a
competitive salary and annual research budget. We seek candidates in the
subfields of American politics or international relations who have
developed a national or international reputation for their scholarship.

Department of Political Science invites applications for a full-time
tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in
the field of international relations or American politics. Although the
position is open as to these two subfields, preference will be given to
international relations candidates who specialize in international security
and preference will be given to American politics to candidates who
complement our existing strengths. Candidates should have over their PhD by
August 15, 2019 and show promise of high-quality research in top scholarly
outlets as well as excellence in teaching. The expected teaching assignment
is 2-2, and the position will involve teaching in the field of
international relations or American politics, including an introductory
course.
