UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI-ST. LOUIS

Policy Analysis/Research Methods

 

The University of Missouri-St. Louis invites applications for a
tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level with
expertise in the area of policy analysis and research methods. We seek
an active scholar oriented to research and publication as well as high
quality teaching. We are interested in candidates who can teach graduate
and undergraduate policy research methods, analysis, and evaluation, and
whose research and teaching interests integrate a variety of
methodological approaches. Research interest in a substantive policy
area is preferred.

 

The person filling this position will have a joint appointment in the
Department of Political Science and the Program in Public Policy
Administration (PPA). The Department of Political Science offers a Ph.D.
in Political Science with an emphasis on public policy and seeks
applicants who will complement this strength. Public Policy
Administration is a hybrid program with courses in both public policy
and public administration and offers a Master's degree. PPA is an
interdisciplinary program and all of its faculty members hold joint
appointments in other academic units. PPA is accredited by NASPAA.

Applicants should have their Ph.D. in hand by the date of the
appointment, August 15, 2012. Please send applications including vitae
