Florida State University
The Department of Political Science seeks applications for two tenure-
track positions in Comparative Politics. Hiring will be at the
Assistant Professor level (either entry-level or advanced) and the
position will begin August 2012. The search is open with respect to
substantive focus, but applicants must be able to add to the
department's strengths in quantitative, experimental and/or formal
methods. Applicants should submit (1) a letter of application
indicating research and teaching interests, (2) a curriculum vitae,
(3) writing samples, (4) three letters of recommendation, and (5) a
graduate school transcript. Items (1) to (3) must be submitted
electronically. Send these files as separate email attachments (PDF’s

and (5) should be sent as hard copies to Comparative Politics Search,
Department of Political Science, Florida State University,
Tallahassee, FL 32306-2230. Review of applications will begin October
