I need to obtain FIPS county-level statistics back as far as they are available. In fact, I need county-level unemployment statistics back before the FIPS-coding began. This is not my area of expertise, but the research has gone in an unexpected direction . . . .
 
Any help that you could give would be greatly appreciated.
