Dear Helen:  You can find USAID funding by sector (democracy and governance, environment, health, education, etc), as well as National Endowment for Democracy funding and aggregated U.S. non-USAID, non-NED funding for some 165 recipient countries from 1990-2004 at the Democracy Assistance Project website:
http://www.pitt.edu/~politics/democracy/democracy.html
We also provide USAID subsector totals within the democracy and governance sector (i.e. Elections and Political Processes, Rule of Law, Civil Society, and Governance).

Best wishes,
Steve Finkel

Subject: [POLMETH] Time-series data on US OFFICIAL foreign aid (by recipient country)?

Dear list participants,

I'd be grateful if you could suggest online sources for time-series data on
US OFFICIAL foreign aid (disaggregated by recipient country).  I have
consulted the USAID and OECD online databases but could only get data for
the last 10 years.  WDI has aggregated data (does not distinguish among
donor country).

Thank you.

Have a nice weekend!
Helen
