This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading department recognised internationally for its rigorous and valuable research. The project start date is 1st October 2023, and the contract is fixed-term until 31 August 2026. The role is full-time. The Post-doctoral Research Fellow will work with Prof Petra Schleiter (Principal Investigator) to conduct research for an ESRC funded research project on the introduction of voter ID in the UK. The appointee will be part of a research team including co-Is Prof Margit Tavits and Prof Jonathan Homola. The successful applicant will have (or be near to completion of) a PhD in political science, or a related discipline. You will have an excellent understanding of electoral politics in the UK, expertise in quantitative methods including survey data analysis, and experience of working in R.
