We are looking for a Research Fellow who will contribute to a project that uses machine-learning methods to forecast interstate and civil wars (see forecastlab.org). We are particularly interested in the clustering of temporal patterns, functional data analysis, and self-supervised learning. Experience with deep learning is required. The project is at Trinity College Dublin, where the postdoc will join a dynamic group of economists, computer scientists, physicists and political scientists. The postdoc is expected to last 3 years, with a start date as soon as possible and a competitive salary. Please apply by June 29.
