Hi. We're conducting searches for two instructor positions in the University of South Carolina's Department of Political Science this semester. One is in American Politics (https://uscjobs.sc.edu/postings/142005) and the other is in Public Law or American Political Institutions (https://uscjobs.sc.edu/postings/142008). I'm chairing both searches and am happy to answer any questions about these positions. These are 9-month positions with contracts that can be renewed annually for the first three years. After the first three years, the faculty member is eligible for a promotion that results in a three-year contract. The standard teaching load in these professional track positions in our department has been three courses per semester. Our search committee will begin reviewing applications on April 17th. Again, I'm happy to answer any questions about these positions.
